DentalMarq ("we", "us") designs websites, builds brands and runs SEO for dental practices. This policy explains what personal information we collect through dentalmarq.com, why, and the choices you have. It is written in plain language on purpose.

What we collect
Information you give us. When you request a free audit or contact us, we collect your name, practice name, email address, phone number, practice website, the services you're interested in and anything you write in the notes field.
Information collected automatically. Like any website, our hosting provider records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this site. See our cookie policy.
Information about your practice. To prepare an audit we look at publicly available information about your practice: your website, Google Business Profile, directory listings and public reviews. We never need your passwords or access to patient records.
How we use it
- To prepare and send your free audit and quote.
- To reply to your questions and deliver the services you engage us for.
- To send project updates, invoices and monthly reports if you become a client.
- To keep the website secure and working.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not send marketing newsletters unless you ask for them.
Patient information
We do not need, and ask you not to send us, any patient health information. If a client project ever requires access to systems that contain patient data (for example, booking software), we will only do so under a written agreement that meets the privacy law that applies to your practice.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, such as our email provider, website host and accounting software, and only as needed for them to do that work. They must protect it and may not use it for anything else. We may also disclose information where required by law.
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts and animation code from jsDelivr. When your browser requests these files, those providers receive your IP address as part of normal internet traffic.
How long we keep it
Audit requests that don't become projects are deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept for as long as we work together and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. Email hello@dentalmarq.com and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local privacy regulator.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
